【摘要】:ThispartofISO6980describesproceduresforcalibratinganddeterminingtheresponseofdosemetersanddoseratemetersintermsoftheInternationalCommissiononRadiationUnitsandMeasurements(ICRU)operationalquantitiesforradiationprotectionpurposes.However,asnotedinICRUReport56,theambientdoseequivalent,H(10),usedforareamonitoringofstronglypenetratingradiation,isnotanappropriatequantityforanybetaradiation,eventhatwhichpenetrates10mmoftissue(Emax>2MeV).Forbetaparticles,thecalibrationandthedeterminationoftheresponseofdosemetersanddoseratemetersisessentiallyathree-stepprocess.First,thebasicfieldquantity,absorbeddosetotissueatadepthof0,07mminatissue-equivalentslabgeometryismeasuredatthepointoftest,usingmethodsdescribedinISO6980-2.Then,theappropriateoperationalquantityisderivedbytheapplicationofaconversioncoefficientthatrelatesthequantitymeasured(referenceabsorbeddose)totheselectedoperationalquantityfortheselectedirradiationgeometry.Finally,thereferencepointofthedeviceundertestisplacedatthepointoftestforthecalibrationanddeterminationoftheresponseofthedosemeter.Dependingonthetypeofdosemeterundertest,theirradiationiseithercarriedoutonaphantomorfree-in-airforpersonalandareadosemetersrespectively.Forindividualandareamonitoring,thispartofISO6980describesthemethodsandtheconversioncoefficientstobeusedforthedeterminationoftheresponseofdosemetersanddoseratemetersintermsoftheICRUoperationalquantitiesdirectionaldoseequivalent,H(0.07Ω)andpersonaldoseequivalent,Hp(0,07).ThispartofISO6980isaguideforthosewhocalibrateprotection-leveldosemetersanddoseratemeterswithbeta-referenceradiationanddeterminetheirresponseasafunctionofbeta-particleenergyandangleofincidence.Suchmeasurementscanrepresentpartofatypetestduringthecourseofwhichtheeffectofotherinfluencequantitiesontheresponseisexamined.ThispartofISO6980doesnotcovertheinsitucalibrationoffixed,installedareadosemeters.Theterm"dosemeter"isusedasagenerictermdenotinganydoseordoseratemeterforindividualorareamonitoring.Inadditiontothedescriptionofcalibrationprocedures,thispartofISO6980includesrecommendationsforappropriatephantomsandthewaytodetermineappropriateconversioncoefficients.Guidanceisprovidedonthestatementofmeasurementuncertaintiesandthepreparationofcalibrationrecordsandcertificates.
