【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthedeterminationoftheamountofwater-extractableproteininnaturalrubber(NR)glovesformedicaluse.ThemethodispotentiallysuitableforthedeterminationofextractableproteininotherarticlesmadefromNRlatex;howevertheextractionproceduresandtimeshavenotbeenvalidatedandwillvarywiththetypeofarticletobetested.Othermethodsforthedeterminationofspecificproteinsinmedicalglovesexist(seeAnnexC)buttheyarenotofgeneralapplicability.ThisInternationalStandardisconcernedsolelywiththemethodofassay.Itisnotconcernedwithsamplingnordoesitpurporttoaddressthesafetyimplicationsofthevaluesobtainedorrequirementsforlabelling.
