【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversplasticsandproductsmadefromplasticsthataredesignedtobecompostedinmunicipalandindustrialaerobiccompostingfacilities.1.2Thisspecificationisintendedtoestablishtherequirementsforlabelingofmaterialsandproducts,includingpackagingmadefromplastics,as"compostableinmunicipalandindustrialcompostingfacilities."1.3Thepropertiesinthisspecificationarethoserequiredtodetermineifplasticsandproductsmadefromplasticswillcompostsatisfactorily,includingbiodegradingataratecomparabletoknowncompostablematerials.Further,thepropertiesinthespecificationarerequiredtoassurethatthedegradationofthesematerialswillnotdiminishthevalueorutilityofthecompostresultingfromthecompostingprocess.1.4Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainstothetestmethodsportionofthisstandard:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatehealthandsafetypracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;NoequivalentISOspecificationsexistforthisstandard.
