【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesamethodformeasuringthecombinedeffectsofheatandaironathinmovingfilmofbitumenorbituminousbindersimulatingthehardeningthatabituminousbinderundergoesduringmixinginanasphaltmixingplant.Themethoddescribedisnotapplicabletosomemodifiedbindersortothosewheretheviscosityistoohightoprovideamovingfilm.Thesamplemaycreepoutoftheglasscontainerandflowontheheatingelementsoftheovenduringtesting.ThemethodisreferredtoasRTFOT,i.e.RollingThinFilmOvenTest.WARNING—Useofthisstandardcaninvolvehazardousmaterials,operationsandequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Ifthereisalikelihoodofvolatilecomponentsbeingpresentinabinder,thisprocedureshouldnotbeused.Itshouldnotbeusedforcutbackbitumenorbituminousemulsionsbeforetheseproductshavebeenstabilised,e.g.inaccordancewithEN14895.
