【摘要】:ThisStandardspecifiesrequirementsformaterialsusedinvulcanizedrubbersealsfor:1)coldpotablewatersupply(upto50℃);2)hotpotableandnon-potablewatersupply(upto110℃);3)drainagesewerageandrainwatersystems(continuousflowupto45℃andintermittentflowupto95℃.Thedifferentdesignationsofsealsspecifiedaredefinedaccordingtotheirtype,applicationandrequirements(seeTable4)Generalrequirementsforfinishedjointsealsarealsogiven;anyadditionalrequirementscalledforbytheparticularapplicationarespecifiedinthereleventproductstandardstakingintoaccountthattheperformanceofpipejointsisafunctionofthesealmaterialpropertied,sealgeometryandpipejointdesign.Thisstandardshouldbeusedwhereappropriatewithproductstandardswhichspecifyperformancerequirementsforjoints.ThisStandardisapplicabletojointsealsforallpipelinematerials,includingiron,steel,clay,fibrecement,concrete,reinforcedconcrete,plasticsandglass-reinforcedplastic.Itisapplicabletoelastomericcomponentsofcompositeornoncompositeseals.Incaseofcompositesealsformaterialsofhardnessrangesfrom76IRHDto95IRHDtherequirementsforelongationatbreak,compressionsetandstressrelaxationapplyonlywhenthematerialisparticipatinginthesealingfunction,orthelongtermstabilityoftheseal.JointsealsmadewithanenclosedvoidaspartoftheirdesignareincludedinthescopeofthisEuropeanStandard.
